Knus licht appartement in Göteborg

Dit appartement in Göteborg bevindt zich in een gebouw uit 1923. Het is gemoderniseerd maar de oude sfeer voel je nog terug en zit hem in de details, zoals het hout op de muur, de eiken vloeren en de ramen met de typische Scandinavische sluitingen.
Er stroomt lekker veel licht door de ramen en het appartement is met zachte, natuurlijke tinten ingericht met zwarte accenten voor een beetje power. Alle muren en al het houtwerk zijn wit en hoewel er steeds meer kleur op de muren verschijnt in Scandinavië, zorgt wit toch altijd voor de meest lichte en heldere sfeer.

The walls and woodwork are all white which is still the best option if you want to reflect as much light as possible. The apartment has been decorated in a soft and natural palette, with black accents for a bit of power.

Chic droomappartement in Östermalm

Dit prachtige appartement is letterlijk een droom, want het is een modelwoning. Het dient als voorbeeld voor een appartement binnen een project waarin in een oud gebouw in de hotspot Östermalm in Stockholm wordt gerenoveerd tot luxe appartementen.
De inrichting is afgestemd op de doelgroep: rijk, luxe en in kalme tinten die rust bieden na een drukke werkdag. Het appartement is maar 60 m2 groot, en is dus efficiënt ingedeeld. De prijs? SEK 9,5 mln (ongeveer EUR 1 mln).
Dit soort juweeltjes passen in TV-programma's als Million Dollar Listing. Tegen een Million Dollar Listing-Stockholm zouden wij trouwens geen enkel bezwaar hebben! Aangezien een van de hoofdrollen daarin die van de Zweedse makelaar Fredrik Eklund is, zou dat nog niet eens zo vreemd zijn.

This apartment is literally a dream because it is not real. It is staged for a real estate project in Östermalm. But what a beauty it is! It's only 60 square metres and will sell for SEK 9,5 mln. It would look great in an episode of the TV-series Million Dollar Listing. A series of this show playing in Stockholm doesn't exist either, but wouldn't it be a great idea?

Nordic Inspiration: warm is terug!

Lange tijd waren Scandinavische interieurs synoniem met de afwezigheid van kleur. Veel koel wit, grijs en zwart voerden de boventoon. Prachtig, maar elke trend wordt weer opgevolgd door een nieuwe en warmte en kleur mogen weer in het Scandinavische interieur!
'Kleur' wordt in dit verband niet altijd in de letterlijke zin gebruikt zoals 'rood' of 'geel': ook warme natuurtinten vallen in mijn Scandinavische kleurenpalet onder 'kleur'.

Dit appartement in Göteborg is daar een heel mooi voorbeeld van. Team Sarah Widman tekende voor de styling in opdracht van makelaar Alvhem en gebruikte Cashmere, een warme, licht vergrijsde okertint van Jotun op verschillende muren. In de gang naar de slaapkamer werd Senses matt gebruikt van Jotun. Op de muren van de woonkamer zit Frostrøyk.
Gecombineerd met wit, licht hout en toefjes zwart is het een goed voorbeeld van echt Scandinavisch anno 2017.

Colour is back in the Scandinavian home. Perhaps not in the pure sense of 'colour' but definitely in the sense of other colours than white, grey or black. The new Scandinavian palette includes beautiful earthy tones, as shown here on the walls and the bedroom of this apartment, for sale at Alvhem. 'Nude' op de muur in Stockholm

De kleur 'nude' is een variant van rose/oranje die de laatste tijd behoorlijk populair is geworden bij designers. Ook in het design van de huisstijl van Nordic Blends speelt nude een belangrijke rol.
Toch is het een kleur waar veel mensen niet aan durven. Te vrouwelijk? Te zoet?
Dat valt mee als je hem combineert met veel stoer zwart, neutraal grijs en fris wit, zoals de bewoners van deze mini-studio in Stockholm (23 m2, bouwjaar 1884) deden. De inspiratie komt ongetwijfeld uit de badkamer. De studio is momenteel te koop bij Fantastic Frank.
